Second grade students of Iğdır University Tuzlca Vocational School Child Development Department organized an educational event for the little ones at Bulakbaşı Primary School under the guidance of Lecturer Derya Atalay.
The event was held with the use of puppet scenes and various educational materials within the scope of the "Developing Equipment in Education" course. At the end of the event, the students presented the materials they prepared to the school. It was stated that puppet scenes support children's language development, empathy skills and socialization, while also contributing to the development of mathematical skills such as creative thinking and problem solving. It was stated that educational materials provide great benefits to children's learning processes by concretizing abstract concepts. It was noted that visual and tactile materials attract children's attention to the lesson, increasing their motivation and making their learning experiences more interactive. This event allowed both university students to improve their teaching skills and primary school students to make valuable contributions to their educational life.
Etkinlik,
"Eğitimde Araç-Gereç Geliştirme" dersi kapsamında kukla sahneleri ve
çeşitli eğitici materyallerin kullanımıyla gerçekleştirildi. Öğrenciler,
etkinlik sonunda hazırladıkları materyalleri okula hediye etti.
Kukla
sahnelerinin, çocukların dil gelişimini, empati kurma yeteneklerini ve
sosyalleşmelerini desteklediği belirtilirken, aynı zamanda yaratıcı
düşünme ve problem çözme gibi matematiksel becerilerin gelişimine de
katkı sağladığı vurgulandı. Eğitici materyallerin, soyut kavramları
somutlaştırarak çocukların öğrenme süreçlerine büyük fayda sunduğu ifade
edildi. Görsel ve dokunsal materyallerin çocukların dikkatini derse
çekerek motivasyonlarını artırdığı, öğrenme deneyimlerini daha
etkileşimli hale getirdiği kaydedildi.
Bu
etkinlik, hem üniversite öğrencilerinin öğretim becerilerini
geliştirmelerine hem de ilkokul öğrencilerinin eğitim hayatına değerli
katkılar sağlamalarına olanak tanıdı.
